Active Directory Administrative Templates
- Drive Mapping - map to server shares [ProviderType 131072] and WebDAV folders [ProviderType 3014656]. Right-click on Network Drives in the User Configuration section of Administrative Templates, select Filtering and un-check "Only show policy settings that can be fully managed." Edit drive mappings as required, leaving the UserName value empty. Variables in UNC paths are not supported.
- Removable Media - disable specific types of removable media; use Active Directory Organizational Units to apply this policy to groups of computers. Right-click on Removable Media in the Computer Configuration section of Administrative Templates, select Filtering and un-check "Only show policy settings that can be fully managed."
- Web Folder - show the Web Folders icon in Windows Explorer for convenient access to WebDAV folders (IIS, SharePoint, etc.)
